Sun Coast 68-SRR Billet Snap Ring Retainer

The Sun Coast 68-SRR Billet Snap Ring Retainer can help stop catastrophic damage in the 68RFE Transmission in your 2007.5-2021 Dodge 6.7L Diesel. It is not uncommon to find the underdrive balance piston snap ring blown off inside the 68RFE transmissions. When this happens, the overdrive clutch drum and underdrive hub assembly can be severely damaged, leaving the clutch hub unusable.

The Sun Coast 68-SRR Billet Snap Ring Retainer is machined out of 6061-T6 billet aluminum and is made.040" taller than the stock retainer for greater spring load. This retainer adds increased spring load tension that prevents expansion and blowing off, resulting in catastrophic damage. Anti-rotational tabs are also machined into this retainer to guarantee that it does not move.
