This restriction prevents shifts from feeling too harsh. The Separator Plate provides a level surface for the 7 check balls to roll on, opening and closing pathways as needed. The Randy's Transmissions Separator Plate is a Non-Bonded unit that resists high heat and holds higher pressures without leaking. It's a thicker unit that won't warp like the stock plate, allowing it to handle higher line pressures without warping or dimpling.
