The Mopar 68460484AB Glow Plug from is a direct replacement for the factory glow plug in your 3.0 Ecodiesel Ram 1500 or Jeep Grand Cherokee. Replacing failed glow plugs can help to eliminate check engine lights and hard starting. The purpose of a glow plug is to heat the incoming intake air allowing the engine to start easier in cold weather. Since diesels do not have spark plugs, they rely upon the compression and heating of the ambient air.
