Description
The Hellwig 7878 Rear Sway Bar improves the handling and safety on your Ford Excursion 4WD. An upgraded sway bar is important on lifted trucks since the lift raises the Center of Gravity, decreasing stability and increasing body roll. The upgraded sway bar increases the anti-roll stiffness to improve both safety and comfort, whether it is daily driving or in tow/haul conditions. This sway bar is made from heat treated, solid chromoly, 1.25 steel.
All the components are made in the United States and the kits include everything necessary to complete the install. This is a direct bolt on kit, requiring no drilling or welding. The kit comes with adjustable end links as well as having 3 holes in the arms to allow for rate tuning to the drivers specific load and driving style.

This rear sway bar fits vehicles with a rear lift of 2"-4. Most lift kits on the market level the truck by lifting the front approximately 2 more than the rear, so measure the rear height, not just the front. In many cases, a 6 lift will only be a 4 lift in the rear.
