Diesel Site 4RCDK Transmission Cooler Bypass Delete Kit

The Diesel Site 4RCDK Transmission Cooler Bypass Delete Kit allow greater fluid flow inside the 4R100 in your 1999-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke. The 4R100 had an external cooler bypass tube that routed transmission fluid from the pump output back to the transmission's return line. Sadly, these bypass tubes frequently malfunction, obstructing the passage of transmission fluid to the cooler. Another problem in the design is that, even under ideal conditions, the bypass never completely closes, which prevents all fluid from ever being transported to the cooler. The transmission could overheat as a result of this.

There are numerous delete kits available that get rid of the bypass tube, but these kits ignore the restriction in the banjo bolt. About 75% of the fluid flow to the cooler is restricted by the spring and check ball, which was created to ensure the cooler bypass tube's proper operation. This check ball and spring are no longer needed once the bypass tube is deleted. This kit includes new banjo bolts without the check ball and spring to allow 100% fluid flow to the cooler.
